WC MN
If you use 92.6 million acres planted and have IL at 225 IA 215 MN 205 NE 200 IN 200 OH 200 and no other state under 170, you get a little over 192 national yield.

Lots of record yields in the Eastern belt the last 2-3 years and lots of good spots in the west, even though they were technically in a drought which means very little at times.

I'm in an area that has had subpar crops three years running.

We farm over a 30 mile circle, it is very hard for us to have very good yields in every area in the same year. Nationally even tougher. How close we get to records is determined by how big the bad areas are and how "ideal" the ideal areas are.
