| It's a good thing the US had pretty good growing conditions this year given the weather being far from normal. I suppose the market players are betting on that.
Canada had so such luck with the poor weather translating into average yields for the country. Latest StatsCan says corn and soys are up but pretty much every other crop really took it on the chin. Wheat was record acreage seeded and still off 10%. Barley, oats, lentils, flax, all gave up acres and/or yield to allow those other crops a chance to even come close to near term production expectations.
