Sounds to me like the "hope" crowd is the ones hoping for rain soon in Argentina.

Interestingly this article points out how grossly incompetent our USDA is at predicting yields in Argentina. Eight years in a row now the crop did not achieve the USDA forecast production. Hmmm.... Does the USDA yield model lack calibration capabilities or is it their "mission" to habitually over estimate? If the former is true, the incompetence is clear. If the latter is true, then what is the true mission of USDA?
