Subject: Documentation to back this up?

They have not had 104-108 for 3 weeks straight. Also it wasn’t nationwide across all growing areas. They had very good growing temps for the first part of the dry stretch.

Last year they had months long drought prior to Jan and Jan continued that trend. This year they had excellent soil moisture coming into the last 3 weeks. They have dried out but the heat has been very recent. So they were sitting very good with regard to stress tolerance end they have soils as good as the I states. Like the US, 2 months of drought stress prior to high heat/dryness does very different things to crops when compared to great growing conditions and then heat/dryness.

Also they are just starting the reproduction phase as harvest doesn’t really start there until April. So they are closer to the 4th of July than mid Aug.

I realize that rains have now moved into Argentina.. but how do you know that things are okay.

Here.. we had rains 24 out of 50 days.. going into August.. a week of 105 degree weather.. a break.. then a week of 106 degree weather.

several dryland fields were flash torched and remain unharvested today.

How do YOU know what’s going on in Argentina?  That’s it’s NOT going to be like how we finished here last year?
