We farm in Argentina and do weather-based production modeling. The lack of understanding about Argentina leads to the market getting too bullish and too bearish constantly.
Argentina's taxes, multiple exchange rates, non-margin decision-making based, and many other factors make it difficult to understand if you are not there. We share information with Easy Newz. They are free and don't try to use it to sell people information.
The market today is a little too high on soybeans and corn. The heat was a real problem. Here is a picture of the temps INSIDE our farm manager's truck last week, and a couple corn fields. You can see how they are starting to droop. We had one field take a big hit.
