NW Indiana | It even exists in the I states based on economics. Along tree lined wood edges I actually will encourage a landlord to do crp. Yes it might still average 140 bu corn the first 12 rows but with my rent based on 220 bu I can't make money on those 12 rows. So nation wide it might not be the poorest ground but it still makes sense to put it in crp at 200-300 rent going to my landlord and not taking the field avg down while allowing me to pay a competitive rate on the whole. | |
