SE IL | That’s always the excuse given, but I think reality is that the majority don’t actually want change to happen. Much like with all of the subsidies they were started with a good purpose and maybe for a while served that purpose. As they have remained permanent though there are unintended consequences, market distortions and farmers that have gotten so used to them they will scream bloody murder if someone tries to take it away. | |
