Have no idea who the guy is but the statements are basically accurate. In much of the country beef cows were part of a diversified operation, something that is going the way of the Dodo bird just as farmer-feeders have done and hogs. Too much labor for many compared to working six or seven months a year. Big cow sale in Ogallaha yesterday with a number of dispersions and some selling the most productive ages, all a sign that despite record prices, cows don't pay the inflated bills. Same with heifer retention.

Your lying through your teeth about not knowing Boyd. He was a former director of OCM which is where y'all got most of your advice the last two decades. OCM is listed as an ag terrorist group now. He supports everything y'all support. In policy, if your trying to make change, you KNOW every group pushing that change with
yours. Farm actions supports everything with you too. Y'all pick some winners to hang out with. Just a little fyi, numbers are way up here, not down even through 2 droughts. Come June, your going to find out what wheat pasture cattle are and how they can get hidden in a hurry. If cow calf is too much work for the prices we have today, my suggestion is to sell out now. Plenty of us are enjoying the current and there is no reason to fix it.

Wow -the numbers point a decline,oh well ,the cattle you sell on the drug free program should be about $1000 a head more then what we normal producers can sell
Have a good Monday ntexcotton
