SE SD | I know I'd welcome wetter than normal conditions for a change. 2017,2018 were too wet and hurt yields, 2019 was the flood disaster year with lots of PP. 20 was a good crop, but the water shut-off in July. We had enough subsoil moisture from 2019 to still finish strong in 2020. 2021 was below average and dry, 2022 was disaster dry, and 2023 was dry again, but better than 2022. I would think the cycle here is due to flip to the wet side. We'll know soon enough! I hope everyone has a great crop! | |
