Firstly, thank you for sharing your soil data with us to give us an idea of what you are working with. I would agree with most other people in that the pH on the fields that are low would be the starting point, be sure to remember your Mg / Ca ratio on what type of lime to use whether it be Calcitic or Dolomitic if you have access to different sources. I would also key into some of those base saturation K levels, I know we talk a lot about PPM's but some of that K could be getting tied up with such low base saturation (ideally in the 4-8% range for me). At the end of the day, it all comes down to what provides ROI and makes the most sense for your operation.
What does it take to change that base saturation? Is it as simple as just throwing more 0-0-60 to it? | |
