sd | Id guess coup is netting more than most others. He gets a hard time for being efficient and thinking outside the box. Yes there is a price to put on your sanity and there is also a price to put on pushing the easy button. That goes with everything in farming, we all can produce a crop generally. Doing it cost effective and efficiently usually is not the easiest. Doing it the easiest way is usually not the most cost effective. I could lease/buy brand new Equioment and not tear stuff apart all winter, sell beans through the local coop and let them take a massive dividend from bean plant, have 2-3 times the labor I would technically need, plant soybeans at 180,000 with full treatment, buy brand new vehicles and have less repairs and so on but that all comes with a cost. And any of that is fine if you do choose but I sure don’t believe coup is doing it less efficient than most. | |
