Sitting in church every Sunday and listening to the word of God and being quiet does not get you into heaven. Church is for fellowship with others of the same beliefs as you and to learn more about the word of God. To find support from others that believe when you are questionoing yourself and your beliefs.... Getting into heaven is accepting Chirst as your savior and living your life as a Christian and that happens outside the church building. It is about how you treat others and how you live your life. No I do not attend church on Sunday's though I grew up in church every Sunday and most of my adult life. I will say that is the one thing living here in the midwest I miss and that is church.... a lack of acceptance and being made to feel welcome has stopped my efforts to attend.... I have a son with ADHD and he will not sit quietly in church like your children and rather than subject him to your judgements we stay home.... He knows all about God and can tell you Bible stories better than you can tell them. I have taught him and when we go east to Ohio we attend church there where he is always welcome... I am a good Chirstian and so is he... we live as we are suppose to... going to church would be enjoyable but is not what gets us into heaven...
