Yes Have really seen that with turkey manure straight out of barns guys have gotten burned because it says 35 units of N and does say when or how fast it releases. Have gone to getting an ammonium N test back and it has really opened my eyes. Composted manure really pays for itself if you can keep it in one place for awhile. 2-3x the avaliability of N
