Two years ago we left a smaller church where the kids ran absolutely wild.One almost knocked my wife down between sunday school and the sermon.The worst offender was the pastors own two small boys. Back when he was single he got all over parents whom couldnt control their children and now its come home to roost..Another couple had absolutely no control over their 2 kids and they often had to be taken out crying and screaming.I got tired of hearing the parents say "if you do that one more time."
We now attend a larger church that has a nursery for the little ones and childrens church for the older ones so the kids arent a problem.Most are well pretty well behaved no matter what. Once or twice a year a cell phone will go off and the ones it happens to are always red faced.Once in awhile someone will be 5 minutes late.Several including me come to church in blue jeans.
Many years ago when I was a kid you got the tar wailed out of you if you didnt behave at church.So,I and my brother were always well behaved.At a very early age our son found out real quick that you stay quiet at church.It only took one trip outdoors,and yes,he got spanked.
