I carry my cell phone to church, but always try to make sure it's on vibrate. It's piece of mind for me to have it just in case there is an alarm condition at the barn that would need attention.
We also take our kids to church and sometimes they might make a noise. They do know that they are not supposed to be disruptive, but they are kids.
I'm not sure what the correlation between going to Church and trying to get into Heaven is, though. Maybe some kid was talking and that caused you to miss the sermon on the part in the Bible about getting into Heaven.
