Good post Cowpoke. We have had people come to worship who have been beaten by their husbands, or even deserted. Had a woman come forward one Sunday who's husband was in just put jail. We prayed for her and helped her the best we could. She comes occasionally and need all the help she can get. She has made a lot of poor decisions, but we know that the Lord loves her. I think she has a hard time knowing that God loves her because of her difficult life.
Jesus died for sinners. If we were perfect, we wouldn't need him.
