When I was growing up and miss behaved in Church my dad would chiggle my ear with his middle finger. Believe me that got my attention. I probably used that approach to discipline on my two boys on different occasions when they were growing up. My biggest concern now is the declining attendance on Sunday mornings. When I was a kid it was not uncommon to have an attendance of 1000 several times during the year and at least 950 every Sunday, and that was in a country Church. Now we have trouble getting 300.
