Price maker vs price taker was ol Frosties line as he was chanting to hold till 8.00 for corn.
Sounds nice. Very very few set their price for corn and soybeans. A little deer and squirrel corn maybe. The only say we have in it is agreeing to take the price they offer. Or reject it. That’s it. Within a few negotiating Pennies. Farmers don’t set their price and it’s a foolish thing to say.
