Don't think for one minute that isn't covered ironclad in the lease. And the farmer pays for insurance.
Personally I'm surprised there aren't dozens for rent. Agtalkers say the dealers are loaded up on combines and going broke paying interest.
They get about $350 / hour to rent. That's $35000 for 100 hours.
So...
Why WOULDNT a dealer rent at that price?
And what farmer wd pay $35 k for a canceled check when you can buy a combine for $50 to $100k? | |
