| I have a paint sprayer and never have taped off anything exterior. Just be careful, no wind, and use a paint shield around windows. A lift is really nice, but it's $250 a day here to rent one, so I never do. You have a lot of reach with a paint sprayer, could get a wand extension too. Like was said, prep is 90% of the work, can't be peeling paint. Newer hardy siding would be way easier to prep than old cedar siding. | |
