Martinton,il | It seems that my area is being flooded by solar panel developers who are throwing out big money offers to lease farm ground and put solar panels on it. I don’t know why but I can’t help but think that this is a scam or a swindler trying to somehow get ground away from landowners who sign a contract without checking with a lawyer and believing the big money promises being thrown around by these people. Has anyone else had solar panel people invade your area trying to convince you to sign 25 year contracts to put these panels up? Rumors of several hundred acres already signed up all around my house. I am very suspicious of this operation and can’t help thinking this isn’t going to end well for those who have signed contracts. Thanks for any information you can add to this.
