Central NE

just read the drone forum and realize that economical drone sprayer technology is here and growing, and in many cases superior to other methods.

weed zapping robots:  the tech is there, just needs to get more economical.  When it gets as easy as the drone sprayers are now,  there will be no need for spraying herbicides, roundup ready, extend, sts, enlist, or even tillage.   organic no-till, non gmo will be super easy to grow and abundant.  corn and soybean growers will only need to: plant, robot weed zap, harvest. planting might be robotic also.  they already milk cows.

politics.  areas with the most freedom to farm will produce the most.  the way regulations are taking shape in california, shows that longterm ag production in the us will dwindle as irrigation is taken away, cities and solar farms expand, beef is up against the climate change lobby.
