Eastern SD | Government subsidizing of everything is not sustainable and when the powers that be finally realize it the ag subsidies may well be on the chopping block. If its a toss up between ag subsidies and unemployment benifits there are a lot more voters on unemployment and social security then there are folks in ag. If and when the subsidies disappear and the ag industry has to stand on its own hind legs i think we will see which practices are economically viable and which arent.
