I have not seen or heard of a failed solar array in the north east,,we have demand beyond on electricity and the enviro nazis took away most chances of hydro power here,,we have mega water and low gen use.Off shore wind is coming here with the state putting its gas pedal to the floor,,strange times .If the panels go away I still own the land,,it will still grow houses quite well.
