I have a friend who was pretty sure he needed a CPAP. Test didn't confirm that, so insurance wouldn't pay for one. He ended up buying one at a rummage sale. Says it makes him feel better, uses it 3 or 4 nights a week.
He's the only one I've ever heard of that did a sleep study and didn't need a CPAP machine according to them.
At-home sleep study... Worth it?
