If I sounded like I was complaining that 'the man' was holding me down, I apologize.
What I was trying to explain is that if you were to follow the tax code and Obamacare costs there is a place where you can change your income by about 50K, and change what winds up in your pocket by less than 5K.
Possible but sounds like a bit of hyperbole, but would like to see documentation. Regardless there was a time when it was frowned upon to keep income low to get gov freebies ie welfare. Regardless, for me if working a bit more put more money in my pocket, I worked. More is more. Hiding behind obamacare doesn't cut it, insurance was going up exponentially for many years before you got that break. Me paying for your healthcare doesn't sit all that well with me when it sounds like you could do it yourself. All I'm sayin. |
