Somedays 70 or more trucks will load out during the summer. As posted, yes, the CORRECT geo-textile fabric will work. As posted, it takes at least 8 inchs of rock on top to keep the fabric from "floating" and bubbling around. I would think the contractor would know what to use ? Here, it common to use screened sand two feet thick then geo-textile fabric with class 5 gravel on top of the fabric for the road base. That would be in some marshy soils - not too marshy to sink and float with water - but unstable and like in the old days when corduroy with logs was common, now fabric's are used . . . . . |
