[.......Regardless there was a time when it was frowned upon to keep income low to get gov freebies ie welfare. Regardless, for me if working a bit more put more money in my pocket, I worked. More is more. Hiding behind obamacare doesn't cut it, insurance was going up exponentially for many years before you got that break. Me paying for your healthcare doesn't sit all that well with me when it sounds like you could do it yourself. All I'm sayin.
It still is frowned upon. Many threads in NAT chastise (mostly) city dwellers and welfare recipients for doing the exact same thing. But, since this is an ag related site, it's different? No, he's being a hypocrite, and crowing about it.
And I agree with it not sitting well with us paying for his healthcare when he is absolutely capable of paying his own way.
