The for profit choppers around here haven’t put a dent in the pigs. They have been going for over 10 years here. They will push them into areas like along the rivers though and try to keep them out of crop land. There seems to be more today than when it started somehow. Lots of no fly zones where deer hunters own lots of land. I have a land lord that trapped over 100 hogs off his 235 acres. He has really kept crop damage down, but it’s still pretty normal to see 50 or more out there now and then.

Neighbors and I pretty well gave some thermal guys free rein on coyotes 5 years ago. They could probably pull coyotes from 5000 acres or more easily. Shot them out in 2 years and after another 2 the pops were back with vengeance.
