I was 12, and he was 45. He had been battling brain cancer for 3 years. Mama died in 2018 at 69 from PSP. I was 32.
They had to sell our farm when Daddy died, but me and my brother are proof that you can farm if you really set your mind to it. I know several farmers with successful operations in our area that had similar circumstances to ours.
