Pittsburg, Kansas | Back when we grew turkeys we checked into cost share on building a litter shed and compost building.
Same type of deal. Engineered building, rebar specifically bent a certain way. Local farm shed contractors didn't want to touch it. You would think we were building a new Wal-Mart.
We put up a shed at our own cost and composted with tractor under it. For less than what our cost share would have been.
Glad I never got in bed with them. Ten years later we got out of the turkey business. Would have had this monstrosity useless for anything. We simply converted the litter shed to machinery storage.
