NW Illinois | Funny, last year generic 24d went up in price due to lack of acid being available to make inventory. Generic manufacturers fix their supply shortages and resets the price to roughly around what it costed the farmer in ‘22 this year. Now the company with the most to gain from increased overall 24d prices throughout all versions sold, is requesting the government to help them increase their profits by driving up the costs on the lower tier products.
Reminds me a lot of something. Yes, that’s it I remember now, it’s countervailing duties on phosphate that were put on that did wonders for the American farmer.
