Mid Michigan | I don't know if JD has any kind of sub pay but unemployment benefits are about $364 a week in Michigan and at most places the health insurance stops too. You have to buy Cobra coverage and it's major $$$$ per month. If a co.pany pays sub pay that helps but after around 2008 most of them don't. That's when it became Fashionable for companies to cut benefits and pensions and most of them proudly did it so it is the new normal.
