I’m seeing similar result here with RTK EZ-Steer. I’ve had two older Case 7140 Magnums planting corn with very good results. One of the tractors switch to planting seed corn were high repeatable accuracy is necessary. It works great in that application also.
I serious doubt that big Green and Red wanted auto-guidance to go down this path of retrofitting older tractors with good quality, high accuracy guidance. There is no reason for farmers to trade-up to a new tractor with factory auto-guidance on account that they could not get auto-guidance on the older tractor that they currently have.
