Thumb of Michigan | I wished I'd have asked about the engine configuration on the test motors they were running. If the liquid test motors were 45 degree as well, I guess it takes more than that to make them sound "right" according to the marketing department.
I still have the 2003, but haven't been able to ride on 2 wheels since 2015. Hope to be able to this year. I did buy a 2018 TriGlide, as I can still ride when I get enough wheels under me. That one has the M8 engine, which has a liquid cooled top end anyway. They're part way there. They have a cooler running engine, but had to put a catalytic converter on. Which, if one decides not to remove it, is very much like sitting on a stove in hot weather.
I have a friend with a Roadstar, and he's put a tone of trouble free miles on it. Close to 200K last I knew. I wanted to ride a Stratoliner when they were first introduced, never got the chance. Beautiful bikes. | |
