Middle of the middle west | I-39 is not a toll road. Where I-90 merges with it in Rockford, that portion is because I-90 is a toll road.
The last exit before the toll going north on I-39 is state route 173, might also be labeled as Machnesy Park exit. The next one is Rockton Rd. and you are already past the toll "booth".
I can't remember where the toll road it starts coming south. Definitely somewhere south of Portage where I-39 and I-90/94 split. |
