NW Iowa | If my plastic lenses are gritty and no water is handy I lick them off before I wipe them with an unused corner of my hanky. I mentioned this to the gal who adjusts glasses at the optometrist and she got a yucky look on her face and treated my glasses like they were poisonous. So now I just keep quiet and let her give her little talk about micro fiber and special sprays. Micro fiber and special spray is what we should use but I have too many other more important things taking up space in my pockets to carry those items along too. Blowing on the lens to fog it is still the #1 choice. | |
