I currently work for a union company… I worked for a company that wasn’t union doing the same job as I do for the union company.


My personal opinion the between the two companies they were a horse a piece. The union company… the company itself and the union like to hide behind one another saying their hands are tied.


The non union company… if I would have stayed I would’ve of been making more than I am now… it was alot easier to get raises there. You actually had to earn your paycheck not hide behind everyone gets paid the same. Don’t get me wrong I make really good money at the union company but I chose to come back because it was local work instead of being on the road… the ability to work with the farming schedule is more important to me…. And it’s nice to be able to sleep in your own bed instead of a camper.


If both companies were local I honestly would probably ditch the union job…
