Faunsdale, AL | Well present facts. You put up a table of numbers that purport to show numbers of illegal immigrants but don’t say where they came from, post a link or anything. I can make up numbers too!
Let’s assume the numbers are real and come from CBP as you seem to be hinting at. My question is if the CBP can count them, why are they still here? Only reason I can think of is they don’t have a legal way to keep them out. Or maybe it’s that there’s not enough officers or enough judges to carry out the law that CONGRESS passed. Any way you cut it, the problem comes back to Congress! So the Republican Party refuses to consider a bipartisan bill to address the situation (you want to call it an invasion) at our border with Mexico. Looks like they want to make sure there’s no solution or improvement even so they can fund raise and keep “the base” engaged. | |
