Ohio | No experience. But I would look at auctions in the area. Don’t really matter the size. Then double to triple that price per acre. They want a small amount of land. Reality is that’s probably a minor cost in the deal. They are also asking to buy something that’s not for sale. Around here it seems like house lots go double to triple price of ground. Start high. Can always go lower. FWIW my father in law got double the price of what a farm sold for at auction for 2 acres he sold for a house lot a few years ago. Both party’s seemed happy with the transaction. | |
