Ludington/Manistee MI area | I thought of Ed the site’s resident EV lobbyist while on spring break. Someone I know moved from southeast Michigan to the greater Phoenix area. They drove their hybrid out but are in a dilemma what to do with the EV. They figured out if they sell it they will get beat to death on resale but dread driving it out. I mentioned it’s a shame the timing isn’t better I’d enjoy the drive and would gladly drive it out if they paid the charging cost and flew me back to Grand Rapids. He flat out laughed at me and said I’d go nuts being limited by its lack of range. My math was based off the abilities of my conventional vehicles it would be 2 long days but an opportunity to see scenery I never seen before.
They are looking at getting it shipped out. |
