I never did see them but several people reported them in the area.
There are center pivots in the area. No potatoes grown here. The rumor was they were counting grain bags. The drones were always after dark. Usually before midnight. It was during the winter. The thought was with temperature sensing equipment on the drones the grain bags would appear warmer than the surrounding area.
I thought it was an expensive way to count bags. I really doubt that’s what they were doing.
