There must be some seals inside, when you remove that snap ring and pull apart? I would guess they get a lot of wear the way that is designed?
Rereading, slower this time, if it’s leaking around the hose and the connector, what do the threads look like and the washer? There are several different types of washers, o ring and harder rubber and more of a nylon material. Maybe one will work where others don’t?
Is it leaking on the back of the hose connection, the part that fits into the actual swivel? How is that attached?
