NW MN | Your added capacity could be a logistical problem for the power company. At 1:1 the private producer is not paying anything for that connection and distribution to the grid.
It definitely shouldn’t be 1:1. Wholesale maybe closer to price.
If you don’t think less then 1:1 is fair don’t connect.

It feels odd to argue on behalf a large private power company but I’m more concerned about smaller rural electric coops but should it be different.
The tricky thing is creative accounting the power company might do to justify a much smaller payment to a private producer.
