The internet provider required a credit card number before they would connect him. He was over 70 years old, never wrote a bad check, never missed a payment on anything in his life, had zero debt and was selling me land on payments. Said they couldn't hook up his internet because he didn't have a credit card and his credit rating (I assume score) wasn't high enough that they felt comfortable he'd be able to pay the $30 a month bill. So, we ran it through my card to get him hooked up. | |
