Unit5 - 4/16/2024 21:54 Pretty Cool Picture!! When did the Railroad get taken out? How far away did they have to truck the grain to the terminal?
The rail lines stayed until after the elevators had closed down. Once they quit taking grain there was no more need for the rails. Its about ten miles West of there to the start of the rail now so that is the closest grain buying point for me.
