Mid Michigan | You don't need your credit score to be much. Don't follow the rest of the lemmings off a cliff. I tried to buy a $1000 dollar stereo when I was 18 and got turned down because I didn't have a credit score. It was a really good lesson to me that day. It told me... hey, when you save up enough Money for something you can buy it and that's pretty much what I've tried to do from then on. I do have a credit card and use it a lot but pay it off monthly. I love that card. Very handy. In fact I took a load of junk to Graingers this week and they only do credit cards. You can not pay cash. One of the only places I go to that does that. I honestly wouldn't know what my credit score is. I've never checked it. Hasn't mattered since I was 18 so I think I can let it go. | |
