We have credit card only, no debit. Several things come out automatically on cc, monthly. Then we pay the cc bill with a check as soon as the bill hits our mailbox.
For internet purchases, we get prepaid "gift" cards and use them. I figure the exposure is less this way, since the prepaid cards are for $500 each.
