We've used the "green juice" (I call it) from Ortho to protect our ash trees for years from EAB. Lately, my M-I-L has been pouring it around other trees as well. It's been great at protecting our mountain ash and linden trees from Japanese Beetles. It might work for your trees. This is the time of year to apply it. Ortho Tree & Shrub.
