I like the idea of putting locks on stairs and electrical. Can be fairly easy to do. Wonder if you could put the bins or property in a LLC and you rent the bins from the llc to limit yourself on risk. I realize the easiest thing to do is bulldoze but when we were in college my buddies rented a house from a local farmer. Had a bin on it. Never even thought about going over there. Had a bunch of parties there to. Was a good situation for the farmer to get some cash and was a cheap house for my buddies. Just a thought.



Single owner LLC provides almost exactly zero liability protection.
